Hi, I just got my first 44inch Maple/bamboo Bahne longboard last week. Never rode a skateboard before in my life, but inline skate and have done ballet, so my balance isn't terrible. Took a few days of skating and finally had confidence to skate to school on it.
It's too long. It fits in my locker but there's hardly room for anything else lol. I found someone letting go of his 28inch MK Cruiser Maple/bamboo board he's only rode twice for 2/3 of the original price. Wheels look barely touched.
Will the 28inch be as smooth as the 44inch? Should I flip my 44inch and get the 28inch? Or should I save for a different board better for a 1.7km ish daily commute?
Thanks!

long length longboard also provides more stability than short. You should use midsize 36" bamboo longboard, that is easy to carry, stable and durable.
