SMBC is bigger than ever!
IF you're new to longboarding and could use a few tips...
OR you weren't aware that there is a gorgeous beach in Toronto...
OR you had such fun at Board Meeting 2014 that you need to skate in large groups now...
OR maybe you've been skating forever and you're in a super mellow mood...
... then we've got the perfect session for you. That's right YOU!
WHAT: The Super Mellow Beach Cruise XLVII*
HOSTED BY: PONYTA
DATE: Sunday, June 21st, 2015
TIME: 1pm to 3pm (maybe even later)
MEETING PLACE: Toronto Library Beaches Branch
ADDRESS: 2161 Queen Street East
* Yeah... session #47. We just like to use Roman numerals. It's an old-school thing.
East of Woodbine Avenue, on the corner of Kew Gardens.
You can take the bus south from WOODBINE subway station
or take the long Queen streetcar ride east from QUEEN subway station.
HERE IS A MAP.
We'll leave at 1:15pm and go ride the oh-so-smooth "bike" path,
soak up the sunshine, socialize, skate, socialize and skate some more...
If you arrive late, don't worry. Just skate down to the path and
you'll find us cruising back and forth along the beach.
After the cruise is over, those who need further mellowing
can get together for a skate all the way to the downtown core,
or go play around at the R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant.

FAQs - What is SMBC? Am I skilled enough? Will I fit in?
Where do you skate exactly? Tell me more...
Since May 2007, SMBC has been attended by skaters of all skill levels,
by punks and preppies, by kids and old schoolers in their forties.
We won't ask you to make a speech and there is no hazing ritual involved.
A fun time is had by all. Just show up with a longboard or skateboard!
We ride The Martin Goodman Trail which means no worrying about cars.
* * * Helmets are mandatory in memory of Hilton Byrne. * * *

Please note: This year, we have moved SMBC from the 2nd to the 3rd Sunday
