I remember years ago this forum was a great place to find events, sell stuff, discuss, etc...
What happened?

Buch of reasons:
-The site went down for a while and people forgot about OLF -Facebook took over most longboarding activities -The new generation does not use message boards any more -When the old site went down most of the historic posts disappeared so probably all the search engine traffic is gone

it's also the tail end of winter. once the warm weather rolls around [hopefully] things'll pick up again.

only for sessions tho really. we'd have to rebuild it from the ground up.
Hev sums it up perfectly, mostly because of 3 & 4. For awhile, olf outranked silverfish in many common longboard related searches.
I think if the really active former olf'rs were registered wikiskate editors we'd have more luck building a "Longboarding Information Database & Historical Archive" That, or maybe what's needed is a more Reddit-familiar interface.
I still check in every other day or so

This is my first time on in years, and it really is much quieter in here. It seems my sign in no longer works, and the Durham regional board is gone, but I don't see a tone of serious boarders around town. When I left the community, the Tan Tien was the brand new deck that everyone wanted, but no one had! Too bad, this place got me into skating!
